Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool Had A 2019 To Savour & Cherish
Liverpool enjoyed an incredible 2019 as Jurgen Klopp’s team dominated football both on the domestic and global front.
The year 2019 draws to a close and Liverpool supporters could be forgiven for not wanting it to end, with Jurgen Klopp’s side having enjoyed an incredible 12 months.
The record books were rewritten over the course of a thrilling 2019.
In total, the Reds won 43 of their 58 games across all competitions in 2019, drawing 10 and losing just five.
For much of the year Liverpool were unstoppable, and they scored an incredible 130 goals along the way.
A seven-year trophy drought was ended in style when Jordan Henderson lifted the European Cup on a glorious night in Madrid. Since getting that taste of success, they have been insatiable.
The Super Cup and the Club World Cup have been added to the trophy cabinet and Liverpool’s remarkable consistency on the domestic stage has surpassed anything the club’s supporters have ever witnessed.
Not even the Kop icons of yesteryear hit these dizzying heights.
Liverpool will certainly hope that they will be able to dominate to such an extent in 2020 and lift their first English Premier League trophy in 30 years.
