Kaizer Chiefs Adamant That Nurkovic Isn’t Going Anywhere! According to KickOff, Kaizer Chiefs have received an official offer from Saudi Arabian side Arabha F.C for the services of top striker Samir Nurkovic. The Amakhosi have rejected all offers received for Samir Nurkovic.
Kaizer Chiefs reportedly received an offer for Samir Nurkovic from Al Ahly last month. Details of that offer remain undisclosed. What we know is that Abha F.C have officially tabled a $400 000 (R6 625 320) offer for Samir Nurkovic.
Kaizer Chiefs have publicly rejected this offer from the Saudi Arabians. Kaizer Chiefs citing that they cannot let go of their top striker. Especially at a time like this, as Kaizer Chiefs are prohibited from purchasing any players.
The Phefeni Glamour Boys are still awaiting their verdict from CAS. Kaizer Chiefs ineligibly acquired the services of Dax. The Madagascan international already had an agreement to join another club when Kaizer Chiefs poached him.
Chiefs have since received a FIFA ban. Barring them from participating in the transfer window for a set period of time. They can only sell players, no incomings. This puts them in a position where they cannot really afford to allow Nurkovic’s goals to leave.
Kaizer Chiefs’ resistance is going to be tested once more as Abha F.C are expected to return with an even better offer. This will test Chiefs’ resilience.
The Amakhosi are also in the middle of preparing a brand new contract for Samir Nurkovic. The Serbian is set to be amongst the club’s top earners, alongside Itumeleng Khune, Bernard Parker and Khama Billiat.
For the time being, Kaizer Chiefs adamant that Nurkovic isn’t going anywhere!
