Kaizer Chiefs Announce Price Increases on Their Tickets for Home Matches! Amakhosi are preparing to welcome back their faithful supporters.
Kaizer Chiefs will have their supporters back at the FNB Stadium from this coming weekend. The club announced a small increase on their prices ahead of the return.
Previously, before Covid-19 forced fans away from football games, tickets to watch the Phefeni Glamour Boys ranged between R40-R80, depending on the tier and importance of the match.
However, due to maintenance issues and overhead costs, the tickets will now begin at R70. This means that there’s a potential for tickets to surpass the R100 mark.
“Whereas ticket prices would previously start from R40-R80 – depending on the category of the game and the logistical requirements. Now, as a result of many developments and increases in overhead costs, home game tickets will start at R70 for games at FNB Stadium.” The club announced in a statement.
The Amakhosi faithful is unlikely to find this as a reason not to attend their matches. There is a guarantee that they will show up in numbers to face SuperSport United this weekend.
“We are looking forward to the reunion with the Amakhosi faithful. As we said previously, the empty silence in the stands around the country was a new and unpleasant experience for Chiefs because we are used to having our vociferous and loving supporters behind the team at all times.” Said Jessica Motaung.
“We know that the Gold & Black army will make it known that fans are back in the stadium from this Saturday, and we are looking forward to a great vibe in the stands,”
“We look forward to 16 April and believe our players will be buoyed by this return of the ‘12th player’”, she concluded.
