Kaizer Chiefs close in on log leaders

Kaizer Chiefs closed in on Mamelodi Sundowns, thanks to a 2-1 win over Supersport United yesterday evening.

George Maluleka gave Amakhosi a 1-0 advantage in the 74th minute but Supersport United looked to have salvaged a point when Jeremie Brockie scored an equaliser in the 84th minute.

The glamour boys however had the last laugh when William Twala scored a late winner in the 89th minute. Victory  saw Kaizer Chiefs close the gap on Mamelodi Sundowns to 8 points.  Chiefs are third on 38 points.
