Kaizer Chiefs: “From Our Side We Don’t Have A Verdict On Tsepo Masilela’s SAFA DC Hearing

Kaizer Chiefs haven’t yet received any information from SAFA regarding their player Tsepo Masilela, who appeared before a disciplinary hearing. Masilela appeared before the SAFA DC on Friday, 2 October for failing to honour his national team call up for matches against Mauritania in AFCON qualifiers and Nelson Mnadela Challenge match agaist Senegal.

“From our side we don’t have a verdict, only SAFA can tell you what is going on,” Chiefs spokesperson Vina Maphosa told KickOff.com.

“SAFA can tell you what is going on. I also want to state that the fact that Tsepo didn’t play this past weekend against Platinum Stars had nothing to do with the DC. That’s what many people assume and that is wrong because Tsepo had yellow cards.”
