Kaizer Chiefs Join Orlando Pirates in Pursuit of Bright Ndlovu

The race to sign Kruger United’s in-form striker, Bright Ndlovu, is intensifying as two Gauteng-based clubs, including Kaizer Chiefs, have reportedly entered the competition for his signature.
Pirates Face Fresh Competition
Orlando Pirates were the first club linked with the 24-year-old forward, but according to sources, Chiefs have now joined the chase alongside another unnamed team.
“I know there are two more teams enquiring about Bright (Ndlovu). Yes, Pirates were the first ones, but now it’s believed that there is Kaizer Chiefs and another team,” a source revealed.
“He has been doing very well, and that’s why he is attracting interest from PSL teams at the moment. I am not sure of the other team, but I know Chiefs are one of them.”
Kruger United Not in a Rush to Sell
Despite the growing interest, Kruger United are reportedly in no hurry to part ways with their prized asset. The club is currently competing for promotion to the Betway Premiership and could need Ndlovu’s services if they secure a top-flight spot.
“They are one of the teams which could get promotion to the Betway Premiership from the Motsepe Foundation Championship, whether automatically or via the playoffs,” another insider confirmed.
“So, for now, despite interest and enquiries, they are not in a hurry because they may need those players if promoted. But as for interest in Ndlovu, it’s there.”
Chiefs and Pirates Looking for Striker Reinforcements
Both Soweto giants are in the market for attacking reinforcements ahead of the next campaign. Chiefs have struggled in front of goal this season, while Pirates are looking to bolster their attacking options to compete for major honours.
With Ndlovu’s stock rising, it remains to be seen whether Kruger United will entertain offers or hold onto their star man as they push for top-tier football.
