Keagan Dolly is not in any rush to hit the heights he is so famed for. Instead, the attacker wants to take the necessary time and steps to acclimatise to the PSL.
In his first DSTV Premiership outing for The Glamour Boys, Dolly was influential as he won the man of the match award. This was in the 2-1 home win to Baroka FC.
He isn’t naïve to the fact that he is still new to Amakhosi and needs to adjust to their tactics. Especially as the head coach Stuart Baxter is also new to the fold.
“I’m taking it each step at a time.” The new man said.
“I’m not in a hurry to be at the top. It’s a process for me and that goes for the team as well.
“We are focused on what we set out to achieve throughout the season. It’s only the second game.
“There are a lot of positives we can take from this game and a lot we need to work on. With each game we will just get better,” Dolly added.
The attacker will also be keen to regain a place in the Bafana Bafana squad. He is currently not in the considerations of Hugo Broos and his technical team.
“For me individually it’s just to keep on growing and contribute to the team’s success.
“That is my aim, just to help where I can and to keep getting better, getting more matches fit and gaining match sharpness. In time that will come,” he emphasised.
