Kevin De Bruyne Proud to Have Mamelodi Sundowns in His Tournament! The Brazilians are set to take part in his cup.
Mamelodi Sundowns will participate in the Kevin De Bruyne Cup in June 2023. The Manchester City midfielder has expressed his delight in their participation.
Traditionally, the KDB Cup has only had European teams take part in it. This year, they will include teams from South America and Africa, taking it global for the first time.
This has been facilitated by Roc Nation Sports, Kevin De Bruyne’s agency and partners to Mamelodi Sundowns.
“It’s a proud moment for me to welcome Mamelodi Sundowns as the first African team to participate in the tournament,” De Bruyne spoke.
“We are well aware of the success and values Mamelodi Sundowns stands for as a club, and I have no doubt their youth team will be a wonderful addition to the team roster. I’m so excited to meet the Sundowns team and can’t wait to see our South African friends in June.

This is yet another example of The Brazilians being a landmark club on and off the pitch.
