Khune Hands Over His Captaincy To Tefu Mashamaite
After reading stories about Itumeleng Khune , speculations where that the Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper is leaving the team. Fortunately, rumors where silenced and it was made clear that Khune isn’t going anywhere. The player also went on to put a visible stamp by posting a picture on Instagram with the words: “Khune wethu akayi ndawo (Our Khune is not going anywhere)”.
Khune last acted as captain of Chiefs in a 2-0 League defeat of SuperSport United on 30 August. He was then sidelined with due to an ankle injury.
