Khune Is Still Without A Club

The new soccer season is about to start and it looks like the Bafana Bafana coach Itumeleng Khune still does not belong to any team. Dan Lichman who is Khune’s agent went on to say that he is very much aware of the rumours linking Khune to Kaizer Chiefs but he has heard nothing from the club about Khune’s future with Amakhosi.

The Amakhosi club was ready to mend the fence with Khune after it was previously decided that he would be leaving the club though it appears his agent has heard nothing from the club. As of yesterday Khune became a free agent and club-less. The player is still linked with Mamelodi Sundowns and a move abroad.

It is yet to be seen what lies ahead for the goal keeper and where he will be playing soccer the next season. Fans are hoping that Steve Komphela would take Khune back before the season starts.
