“It’s a big one, there’s a lot at stake. You play for pride, you play for your families, we play for the supporters, most importantly we play for the badge and the Orlando Pirates faithful.” He Mabena told the club media.

“But to the young ones, I’d like to say they must just go out there, enjoy themselves, play to the best of their ability and know that they are not doing it for themselves, but they are doing it for the club, which is Orlando Pirates football club. We are going into this one knowing very well we have won two consecutive games in a row.

“I think it will be the best result that we can get this weekend against the arch-rivals Kaizer Chiefs.

“We know very well that they have won four derbies in a row, and they want to make history by winning the 5th, but we wouldn’t want to let that happen you know.

“With the wins that we’ve got [lately] I think that the confidence we have amongst ourselves as players, technical staff and coaches, I think that we are going out there knowing very well what’s at stake, which is three points. Hopefully we can go back home with a smile.”
