KJELL JONEVRET IS NEW ORLANDO PIRATES COACH
Orlando Pirates named Kjell Jonevret as their new coach on Monday. The Swedish born coach will succeed Mushin Ertugral. Jonevret has been based in Norway prior to coming to join the sea robbers.
Pirates have not won any of the last seven games they played. Bucs have suffered major defeats this season, loses that embarrassed the club and resulted in Ertugral resigning after a 6-1 loss to Supersport United. Recently Pirates lost 6-0 to Mamelodi Sundowns under caretaker Augusto Palacios.
Jonevret has met with the coaching staff and will work on implementing his plan to get the Bucs back to winning ways and winning silverware for the Soweto giants Orlando Pirates. Ahead of Jonevret is the Soweto derby in March and the Nedbank cup and Jonevret will sure cement his name in the next major fixtures of the sea robbers. Jonevret will be assisted by Harold Legodi and Benson Mhlongo in getting Bucs back to winning ways. Legodi joins the technical team after the departure of Bradley Carnell. Bucs supporters are waiting in anticipation to witness what plan does Jonevret have and it is goals that win the match and not the statistics or history of a coach.
