Lebese now at Supersport
George Lebese has begun training under Absa Premiership outfit SuperSport United after being confirmed as a midfielder from Mamelodi Sundowns on a six-month loan deal.
The 29-year-old has been struggling to break into Pitso Mosimane’s starting XI since joining the Chloorkop giants in 2017 from Kaizer Chiefs. Lebese will be hoping to get enough game time under his belt before returning to Sundowns next season.
The player’s agent, Steve Kapeluschnik has shared to say; George Lebese has been allowed to go on loan to one of the clubs main rivals in order to gain some much-needed game time. In his regard Lebese posted that he is looking forward to settling in, to meeting the guys and contributing to the team. “I just have to prove to myself that I still have it and that I can still play. I want to be happy again, I’ve been depressed for I don’t know how many months, honestly. I’m happy to be getting this new challenge,” he says.
