Lebogang Manyama Privileged To Score Hattrick For Kaizer Chiefs! The attacking midfielder scored all three goals for his team on Wednesday.

Kaizer Chiefs defeated Golden Arrows 3-2 on Tuesday evening. Hattrick hero Lebogang Manyama hopes that this is a sign of more goals to come from him for Chiefs.

Kaizer Chiefs conclude their DSTV Premiership season against TS Galaxy on Saturday afternoon. Their 3-2 win over Golden Arrows has ignited their chances of finishing in the top 8 this season.

“It was very important firstly that we won,” Manyama tells the club website.

“We know what happens at the village when you win – the mood is positive. I think it’s a place that deserves more of that.

“To score hat-trick at this huge Club is an honour,” adds Manyama.

“There’s not many players that do that, so I am honoured to be part of that. Hopefully I can get more.

“I don’t think I’ve scored many hat-tricks in the league before – I have scored many in training matches,” he confirms.

“Scoring a hat-trick is sweet, but to do it at a club of Kaizer Chiefs’ magnitude is huge – you will always be counted amongst players who have score hat-tricks here.”

Kaizer Chiefs need nothing but a victory against TS Galaxy. Finishing in the top 8 would be some sort of consolation in what can only be described as a bad season.

“Most importantly it was a hat-trick that gave us a very important victory in terms of where we are going and what is in front of us. We have to remain humble and work on getting better.

“If you can score three, it means you have the chance to score more. We have to try and improve each and every time”.

The attacking midfielder has now scored 8 league goals this season. He is one of the highest goal scoring midfielder this season, along the likes of Mduduzi Mdantsane and Themba Zwane.

“I always try to get myself into positions where I can get a chance,” he says.

“You have to give credit to the guys who gave me the chances because usually I am the one who creates. It does not just happen that I go over eleven players and score, it starts from somewhere.” He concluded.
