Lebohang Phiri Reflects On His Humble Beginnings! In only a few years, Phiri has become an international soccer star and Bafana player. The 22 year old currently plays for the French side Ligue 1 club EA Guingamp.

Phiri has however not forgotten where he comes from. Taking to Instagram, the midfielder reflected on his humble beginnings in Alexander Township.

“Who would’ve thought me of all people.. Lebogang Phiri who hails from the streets of Alexandra Township (Gomora) would be rubbing shoulders amongst some of the best players in the world?? On the same pitch even, not just as a spectator ??‍♂️ God I know that is all you,” he wrote on Instagram.

Dreams really do come true, all you got to do is keep working towards making them a reality. Hard work and HUMILITY plays a huge role in that process. Who would’ve thought me of all people..
