Linda Buthelezi, Bafana Bafana great

When going back into the history books of South African football, one name that is likely to pop up is that of former Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana midfielder Linda Buthelezi.

Nicknamed Mercedes Benz, Buthelezi was a key player for Kaizer Chiefs as well as Bafana Bafana. Buthelezi was part of the history making Bafana Bafana squad which won the Africa Cup of Nations in 1996.

Apart from Amakhosi Buthelezi played in Turkey, and had stints with Jomo Cosmos, Orlando Pirates, Mamelodi Sundowns and Supersport United.
