The 33 year old was commemorated by two of his former clubs this weekend. He tragically passed away in a car accident last week.

KRC Genk has already retired the #16 shirt at the club. Ngcongca had been part of the squad since 2007, before leaving them.
He built strong relationships in his time in Belgium. His death drew responses from the club itself (KRC Genk) as well as former players such as Kevin De Bruyne and Thibaut Courtois.
Sad to hear former Genkie Anele is no longer with us. Being one of the most enthusiastic players I have ever met, I’ll always remember your smile and will carry your positive mindset with me. We’ll miss you deeply, my friend. My thoughts go out to your family. ? https://t.co/DMbrVx3ONM
