Mamelodi Sundowns maintain seven point advantage

ABSA premiership log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns maintained a seven point advantage at the summit of the South African premiership standings thanks to a 2-1 win over Mpumalanga Black Aces on Wednesday evening.

Amasandawana got off to a flying start with Mzikayise Mashaba scoring the opener in the 6th minute before Hlompho Kekana doubled the lead three minutes later.

Mpho Matsi reduced the deficit for Black Aces in the 90th minute but the goal came a little too late as Mamelodi Sundowns held on for a 2-1 win which ensured they remained seven points clear at the summit of the psl standings.
