Manchester United Terminate Contract of Cristiano Ronaldo! The Portuguese superstar is currently a free agent as of yesterday.

Premier League giants have terminated the contract of star player Cristiano Ronaldo yesterday. This followed the scathing comments he made about the club in a controversial interview last week.

The forward conducted a shocking interview with Piers Morgan last week, where he went on to basically trash talk the club. Consequently, United have terminated his contract.

“Cristiano Ronaldo is to leave Manchester United by mutual agreement, with immediate effect.

“The club thanks him for his immense contribution across two spells at Old Trafford, scoring 145 goals in 346 appearances, and wishes him and his family well for the future.

“Everyone at Manchester United remains focused on continuing the team’s progress under Erik ten Hag and working together to deliver success on the pitch.” They said in a statement.

Some of his scathing comments include the fact that the club has not improved since he left them in 2009 to join La Liga giants Real Madrid. CR7 said that their facilities are absolutely the same and haven’t moved on with the times.

The striker has been relatively a bench player this season under the management of Erik Ten Haag. This has been the bedrock of his unhappiness, leading to the interview with Piers Morgan.
