Marcus Thuram Googles Himself To Get Past Stadium Security!
Marcus Thuram Googles Himself To Get Past Stadium Security! The Borussia Monchengladbach striker had to provide identification to get past security at the San Siro last night. Unfortunately, Marcus Thuram only had his phone and nothing else with him!
In lieu of producing any form of identification, Marcus Thuram googled himself to get past stadium security. Monchengladbach were playing away to Inter Milan last night [21 October] in a UEFA Champions League group stage.
Marcus Thuram is the son of former France international and World Cup winner Lilian Thuram. He was born in Italy as his father was playing in Serie A.
Thuram spent the first 9 years of his life in Italy, while his father was playing for Parma.
Marcus Thuram is now a regular starter for Borussia Monchengladbach in the German Bundesliga.
His style of play resembles the style of his father. The only difference is that he plays as a striker while his father played as a defender.
But he embodies the athletic, powerful, dynamic, and energetic style of play that his father portrayed. He is one of the most promising young players in European football now.
After finally getting past security last night, Thuram went on to start for Borussia Monchengladbach against Inter last night.
The striker won a penalty for his side in the 2-2 draw. Romelu Lukaku gave Inter Milan the lead before Monchengladbach turned the tie around and took the lead.
Lukaku equalised in the dying minutes to salvage a draw for the Italians.
