Maritzburg United takes on Swallows FC in the DSTV Premiership tomorrow night. This fixture was delayed last week due to inclement weather.
Both teams have faced defeats since their initial match was forcefully cancelled due to terrible weather.
Maritzburg United lost to Cape Town City while Swallows FC fell to the mighty Mamelodi Sundowns.
Striker Tawanda Macheke has detailed their manifesto ahead of the encounter. It is a bottom of the table clash, with the visitors needing the points more, due to their situation.
They are currently second from bottom.
“The preparations are going very well, and everyone is putting in the hard work knowing that we need these points,” Macheke told the club website.
“Dedication, commitment, and hard work till the last second of the game are all we need to do to get the results that we are looking for. It’s not going to be a walk in the park.
“But we need maximum concentration, determination and hard work to get the points.
“I don’t know if they will make changes or not to their squad. But what I’m pretty sure about is that it’s not going to be an easy game.
“We ought to approach it with positive mindset and get the results we need.” He spoke.
Both coaches, Dylan Kerr and Ernst Middendorp might make changes to their line-up after suffering harrowing defeats in their last outings, respectively.
“Individuals for me don’t really matter now. We need to focus on the team because individuals may change but Swallows FC will always be Swallows FC even with new or old players,” he concluded.
