Marks Maponyane Found Guilty Of Assault! The soccer legend has now found himself in Mzansi’s bad books as a woman abuser after admitting to assaulting his then wife Sylvia Maponyane.

According to Sylvia, the assault happened during an argument about Maponyane’s alleged infidelity in their bedroom. He lost his cool and hit her in the face with a hanger.

Sylvia also said despite pleading guilty in court, he had not apologized to her and she had not told their kids about the assault.

Maponyane was fined R3000 or six months imprisonment and a further R6000 or 24 months imprisonment which was wholly suspended for 24 months.

Social media wasn’t happy with the special treatment famous people get when they break the law.
