Messi Celebrates Eight Years As FC Barcelona’s No.10

Messi began football at a young age and his potential was quickly seen by Barcelona. He left Newell’s Old Boys’s youth team in 2000 and moved with his family to Europe for the club. Messi celebrates eight years as FC Barcelona’s No.10. Messi started as Barcelona’s no.10 in 2008-9 where he scored 38 goals and that was his most his successful season. FC Barcelona posted on its official website congratulating Messi for being the  club’s no.10 for eight years.
