Messi Declares That Xavi Is The Best Player In The History Of Spanish Football

Lionel Messi, the Argentina superstar has mentioned one of his teammates as the best player in the history of Spanish football and how honoured he is to play alongside the player, ahead of Saturdays Champions League Final.

Messi described the 35-year-old Xavi Hernandez is the best player Spain has ever had. Xavi who will be making his final appearance for the club this weekend. Messi is honoured to train and play alongside Xavi and could not think of a better player than him in Spain.

Messi also touched on the game on Saturday against Juventus. “We went through a lot to get there and we know it wont be easy. Juventus are a great team, anything is possible”he added.

Xavi will be movingto Qatari side Al-Sadd for the next season.
