Mamelodi Sundowns face stern test in champions league
Mamelodi Sundowns will next month seek to conquer Africa when they begin their Caf champions league road by clashing against Zimbabwean champions Chicken Inn.
Masandawana have been in fine form in the league and Pitso Mosimane is hoping his charges maintain their good play against Chicken Inn.
Its is said Chicken Inn are a solid team with exciting players such as Edmore Chirambadare, as well as Clemence Matawu who spent a large part of his career playing in Europe. That coupled with an organised coach in the form of Joey Antipas, Chicken Inn will be no push overs for Masandawana who boast of talented players such as Khama Billiat, Keegan Dolly and Bongani Zungu.
It however appears the Zimbabwean champions are very mindful of the threat that their countryman Khama Billiat may pose making the contest a tight one.
Based on experience Mamelodi Sundowns will however have an edge as it is the first time Chicken Inn will be competing in the Caf champions League. It is however not a new terrain for the Game Cocks head coach Joey Antipas who previously had a dance in Africa while at Motor Action.
