Orlando Pirates fans could soon see the return of one of their most electrifying talents, as signs point to Monnapule Saleng being given a new chance to impress under recently appointed head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou. The 27-year-old winger, known for his pace, flair, and ability to unlock defences, has been a noticeable absentee from the Buccaneers’ matchday squads for several months.

Saleng’s last appearance for the Soweto giants came on December 7, during a goalless CAF Champions League draw against Egyptian heavyweights Al Ahly at Orlando Stadium. Since then, despite being fully fit and still contracted to the club, he has been missing from competitive action.
