Morgan Gould Reminds Us How Stylish He Can Be

Did you know? Gould owns a clothing brand. When he launched it years ago he said, all profits made were going to help young people get an education, through his MG Cares foundation. “They say great ideas come from drunk people. Not that my friends are alcoholics,” Gould said on YFM.
“I want to do good in the community. I had the opportunity to go to school and play football and it doesn’t end there for me. I want to give other kids that opportunity. Even if I only see two kids in the next 10 years going to a good school and getting bursaries, it will be worth it,” he adds.
GOULD TALKS ABOUT HIGHS AND LOWS AT CHIEFS
Gould was one of the solid defenders during his time at the Glamour Boys however, at times injuries caused him some hiccups in his journey.
“My move to Chiefs had its ups and downs. After getting a lot of game time I got injured. When I resumed playing I was at a point where people where doubting me and it played on my mind as I also started doubting myself – and that led to me trying to prove them wrong, when I should have just got on with my game. I lost the reason for playing and focused on making people eat humble pie – and it did not help me at all.”

“People come with expectations and you end up wanting to live on those expectations. What I needed to do was to take a step back, reassess, start afresh and move forward, and not worry about what people said or thought.”
