Moroka Swallows woes continue!
Since being relegated from the Absa Premiership in 2014/2015 season Moroka Swallows woes continued till they were relegated to the ABC Motsepe league where they are now. Swallows shocked the football fraternity after they were relegated from the top football league in South Africa and all the way to the Motsepe League.
Swallows is currently 13th in the ABC Motsepe league, a position they could see themselves going further down if they continue with their loosing run. Swallows under the guidance of South African coach Craig Rosslee have been struggling to climb up the league and fight their way back to the PSL.
Not only has Swallows woes been on the field but senior players such as Graig Etafia, Lefa Tsutsulupa and Dikgang Mabalane have been frustrated by lack of payments and this has reflected on the financial woes of the Dube birds. Swallows were rumoured to buy Free State Stars in the beginning of 2016/2017 season but the deal failed due to financial woes of the club.
