Motshidisi Mohono Celebrates Momentum Gsport Awards Triumph
Motshidisi Mohono Celebrates Gsport Awards Triumph on Monday the 31st of August. The acclaimed sports broadcaster has won several awards before and added another trophy in what seems to be an ever expanding personal cabinet.
Gsport was founded in 2006 to provide information and education about women’s sports in South Africa. As men’s sports is fully established, gaining coverage in the hundreds of thousands, there’s a huge gap that’s been developed when compared to woman’s sports.
Motshidisi, who is a sports broadcaster, MC, voice over artist, speaker and moderator, won the 2020 Momentum GSport4Girls Woman in Television Award.
She took to twitter to celebrate her deserved achievement.
Mohono was congratulated by Robert Mara.
Neil Andrews also shared his sentiments.
Motshidisi was part of the SuperSport team that covered the Rugby World Cup in Japan. This 2019 excursion became much sweeter when the Springboks came home with the Robert Ellis trophy, to the jubilation of millions in South Africa.
Mohono is an experienced broadcaster and continues to be a role model for females with admirations in the field.
