Nemanja Vidic Revealed His Toughest African Player He Has Ever Faced
The Manchester United legend Nemanja Vidic revealed his toughest African player he has ever faced. Nemanja Vidic is one of the Manchester United legends and his career was a successful at Old Trafford where he managed to lift 15 trophies in 8 seasons,under the management of Sir Alex Ferguson.
The Red Devils legend,agreed his career in Premier League,they were tough opponents but there was one opponent he never enjoyed to play against with. The 34 year old said every time when he played against Didier Drogba it was a big challenge for him. He also mentioned other names but Drogba was the toughest.
“Drogba was tougher (than Fernando Torres),” he told FourFourTwo.
“Torres always created a chance to score, but Drogba was on you for the full game.
“People say: ‘You had a difficult game against Torres’, but it was just the one game.
“I went to head the ball but changed my mind and tried to pass to Edwin (van der Sar). I misjudged the distance and Torres scored.
“Drogba was physically the hardest; (Luis) Suarez and (Sergio) Aguero were the best, Drogba would be even better if he didn’t get so many injuries. They were the top three I played against.”
