New Maritzburg United Performance Analyst Still Settling in! The Team of Choice have made many changes ahead of the 2021/2022 PSL season.

Maritzburg United have appointed Pedro Ramos as their newest coaching addition. He is the club’s newest video performance analyst.

Ramos worked with head coach Ernst Middendorp in Asia before. He praises the professionalism that the German tactician possesses.

“My last team was Bangkok United in Thailand. I was there for two years and worked there also with coach Ernst,” Ramos told the Team of Choice’s media department.

“Before joining Maritzburg, I’m worked for Cape Verde national team as a head of analysis.

“I’ve always had a good relationship with coach Ernst, he was always 100% professional with me. I like to work with him and here also I am feeling very comfortable with him here, so far all good.” Ramos said.

He admitted to acclimatising to the city of Pietermaritzburg. However, he has spent most of his time in training.

“PMB, so far I don’t know too much of the city – my current life is here are the Harry Gwala Stadium my condominium, the supermarket.

“Regarding the people of PMB, I was well received by everybody. They are all funny guys and so far, I like it here, the weather is good, it’s quite similar with the spring in my country, so far, all good.

“I know that in the past the club has enjoyed good seasons – the top five, the top eight, some cup semi-finals and finals.

“So, I hope we can have a soft season, not like last season where we were fighting for relegation. I believe we build a nice team, and we will give to the people of the city an entertaining and good season.” He concluded.
