Nkosingiphile Ngcobo Confident That Kaizer Chiefs Can Win Over Moroka Swallows! He has emerged as a starlet for the Amakhosi this season.
The young man was voted Man of the Match in their sole win against Chippa United. He had another influential game against Golden Arrows over the weekend.
The young midfielder believes that Chiefs were unlucky not to grab all three points on Saturday.
“I felt we were unlucky against Arrows. We were supposed to win the game, but we played a draw, we might not have been clinical enough in front of goal, but these are things we can improve on. I know we will,” Ngcobo says on the Kaizer Chiefs website.
He is looking forward to a very difficult game away to Moroka Swallows.
“We expect them to come out and attack. We know they are also strong at the back. They have conceded one goal this season and if we apply ourselves well, we will be able to get the win. I am confident of that.”
He is looking forward to coming up a team and defence has only conceded one goal and remains unbeaten in the division.
“For us it is important to get three points so that we gain confidence and belief moving forward.
“We are up against a strong team that has not lost this season. We have to go there and fight for a win.”
Ngcobo has played in all seven matches for Kaizer Chiefs this season. Four in the DSTV Premiership and three in the MTN 8.
He is not concerned about being specially targeted by opponents at this stage of his career.
“It gives me positive energy if the opponents are focused on me. I do not put myself under pressure by over thinking anything.
“I stay focused and will continue to go out and play for the team and the badge.” He adds.
He has been a key contributor for new coach Gavin Hunt since his arrival at the club.
“I have enjoyed my football since the league started and have also enjoyed doing and implementing what the coach asks of me. I do feel I need to be more effective by creating and scoring more goals.” He said.
He is looking forward to the game at Dobsonville.
“It will be good for us because we have not lost in our last three games and they have not lost all season.
“We need to keep it tight at the back and not concede. We have to take our chances and win the game.” Ngcobo concluded.
