On the 16th of April 2014, Real Madrid got their hands on their 19th Copa del Rey. Just as they had when they last lifted the trophy, the Whites made the final at Mestalla and their rivals were Barcelona. Di María opened the scoring early on, before Bartra made it 1-1 for the blaugranas on 65′. The game’s big moment came with just five minutes remaining, when Bale set off on a blistering run down the wing, before cutting in to finish with a sweet goal that decided the game and clinched the title.
