Orlando Pirates & Mamelodi Sundowns Eye TS Galaxy Star Kamogelo Sebelebele

TS Galaxy could be on the verge of losing another key player, as winger Kamogelo Sebelebele has attracted serious interest from Gauteng giants Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns.

Sources indicate that both clubs have identified the 22-year-old as a potential signing, although no formal negotiations have begun. The highly-rated attacker has been a standout performer for Galaxy this season, making 19 appearances and scoring a crucial winner against Sundowns.

Pirates, in particular, are believed to have turned their attention to Sebelebele after failing to secure Thato Khiba, who joined Stellenbosch FC. However, insiders emphasize that the Buccaneers are not looking at Sebelebele as a direct replacement for Khiba but rather as a player with a different skill set who could bolster their wing attack.

“The two clubs which we believe have apparently shown interest in Sebelebele are Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns. This is just interest at the moment. There are no talks or negotiations yet,” a source close to the situation revealed.

Sebelebele, who was promoted to TS Galaxy’s senior team in 2022, has steadily developed into a key figure for the club. His pace, dribbling ability, and attacking versatility make him an attractive prospect for any top team.

With two of South Africa’s biggest clubs circling, it remains to be seen whether TS Galaxy will be able to hold on to their talented winger or if he will take the next step in his career with one of the league’s heavyweights.
