Owen Da Gama Says TS Galaxy Players Do Not Complain! TS Galaxy played out to a 1-1 draw away to Chippa United on Friday.

This extended TS Galaxy’s unbeaten streak to 4 matches since Da Gama took over. This is a run of form which has seen them shoot up to 11^th on the DSTV Premiership table.

The 1-1 draw with Chippa United means that they have now taken 8 points from their last 4 matches (8 out of 12 points).

“With my experiences with Bafana Bafana, I’ve learned not to complain whether we were playing in Mali or Sudan.” Da Gama told the club website.

“The conditions were not very good in those countries. Even the pitches were not very good. We never complained. Not even once.

“We went through the qualifiers unbeaten. We never complained about conditions or traveling. People don’t realize how many games we’ve played away from home but we don’t make big deal out of it,” the experienced coach added.

TS Galaxy play Bloemfontein Celtic in the league tomorrow. Celtic are another one of Da Gama’s previous teams.

The Rockets are currently 2 points behind Phunya Sele Sele. They also have a game in hand on Siwelele.

“We are playing a Celtic team that has done very well. They are above us on the log.

“There’s something painful now that we will play Celtic. When I was at Highlands Park last season, they beat us on goal-difference to finish in the top eighth.” Da Gama elaborated.

TS Galaxy will finally be playing at their Mbombela Stadium home ground. They have played 4 away matches on the spin.

They’ll be looking for maximum points at their home ground.

“We’ve just carried on and done what we have to do. Management and the whole technical have done well in managing the situation. We’ve all been united.

“That unity is the strength of what we’ve achieved so far. It is not about the coach but the unity within the team. Everybody wants to win,” he concluded.
