Pep Guardiola Doesn’t Want Manchester City to Disappear! The Cityzens are on top of a blue moon.

Manchester City won the UEFA Champions League on Saturday night. Head coach Pep Guardiola wants them to stay relevant for many years to come.

This is their first ever Champions League triumph. When the club was taken over by Sheikh Mansour in 2008, these were the heights that the club wanted to reach.

Now that they are there, Guardiola is keen on keeping the club on such a high level.

“Now we have the first and the people can say ‘Manchester City have already the first Champions League’. But I don’t want after one Champions League to disappear.” He spoke.

“So, we have to work harder in the next few years, next season and be there.

“There are teams who win the Champions League after one or two seasons and disappear. We have to avoid it.

“Knowing where we’ve been this is not going to happen. But at the same time, I have to admit it is a big relief for the Club, and for everyone we have this trophy.” He confirmed.

During the transfer window, Manchester City are expected to make yet more signings to their already impressive squad. Such additions are definitely going to keep them competitive.
