Percy Tau has arrived in Egypt to complete his move to Al Ahly. All that is left to do now is complete his much-anticipated unveiling.
The Lion of Judah has been seen at the Al Ahly training ground performing media duties. He was taking pictures in the kit of Al Ahly!
Tau was also juggling the ball in front of the media, as his announcement is imminent.
Pitso Mosimane expressed interest in signing Tau last month. He said it is something that he would like to see the Al Ahly board bring to fruition.
Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos also inadvertently said that the player would be transferring clubs soon. Broos described this as “good news”.
This is as Broos attempted to get clearance from Brighton & Hove Albion for the release of Tau to international duty. The club said that he is not registered with them anymore.
The announcement is imminent now.
Broos wanted Tau to leave Brighton to get more playing minutes. The forward struggled to get much game time in the Premier League last season.
