Percy Tau‘s Brighton & Hove Albion Crash Out Of the FA Cup! Leicester City defeated Brighton 1-0 at the King Power Stadium.

A late header from Kelechi Iheanacho was enough to see off Albion. Percy Tau started only his second game for Brighton last night.

He started up front alongside Andi Zeqiri. WhoScored gave Tau an overall rating of 5.9/10 for his performance.

“It’s a sore one to lose so late because I thought we put a lot into the game,” a disappointed Graham Potter told the media after the game.

“The goal is disappointing. We weren’t quite switched on, didn’t pick up and didn’t have enough cover at the far post.

“But I thought other than that it was a strong performance from us. A lot of players who haven’t had many minutes got an opportunity and it was a game of few chances. I thought the teams cancelled each other out for long spells.”

The Brighton manager was pleased with the first-team debuts of Michal Karbownik and Jakub Moder.

“I was delighted for them. They haven’t played much football in recent weeks but they did a lot of things well and affected the game. Quite a few players got important minutes and that was good. 

“The boys are disappointed that we’re out of the FA Cup but we will recover now and go again on Saturday in the Premier League against Aston Villa.” Potter concluded.
