Sunday would have served as the perfect debut James Keene would have asked for after setting up the Clever Boys first goal before scoring the second.

Keene was in fine form bringing smiles to Gavin Hunt, a man that showed faith in the Englishman.

Immediately making it into the starting eleven exhibited the value Hunt attaches to the former Portsmouth player who was in great form in Bidvest Wits 3-1 victory over Chippa United.

A win placed Wits top of the ABSA premiership standings with 29 points, two ahead of Sundowns and Mpumalanga Black Aces who have 27 points.
