Phungwayo Could Leave Pirates On A free Transfer

Orlando Pirates has less than a month to secure the future of Patrick Phunwayo as his deal expires at the end of June. Pirates and the player have failed to come to an agreement on his contract. The 27 year old could leave the club on a free transfer should the fail to secure a deal with him.

It has been revealed that both Chiefs and Sundowns have been keeping a close eye on he player, as both teams would love to have him on their teams. It was a surprise that Pirates has failed to secure this deal since January, during the transfer period.

The players future has become uncertain since his agent and the club are still negotiating to reach an agreement.
