Piernaar’s House Robbed Whilst Sleeping! The Bidvest Wits star is one of the local football stars who lost personal property to robbery during the festive season.
Reports have emerged that Piernaar’s house got robbed on the 27th of December whilst him, his wife and kids were all fast asleep, fortunately no one was harmed during the robbery.
The robbers got away with a number of items including a sound system, cellphone, keys to his luxury car and over R9 000 in cash.
“I was at home too but I didn’t hear anything. I am still surprised as to how they managed to pass through the electric fence and the laser beams,” Piernaar told Sunday Times.
“It appears that it was people who were too familiar with my house’s security and who knew that I and my family were sleeping at the time,” he added.
