Pirates beat Tuks

Orlando Pirates secured a much needed win after overcoming University of Pretoria 2-0 in an ABSA Premiership encounter today.

Pirates went into Wednesday’s tie desperate for maximum points having been held by Platinum Stars at the weekend. The sea robber’s however responded well to the pressure as they cruised to a 2-0 win over Tuks.

Thabo Matlaba grabbed the Bucaneers opener in the 46th minute before Sifiso Myeni put the game to rest after striking in the 84th minute.
