Pirates Coach ready for final.
Orlando Pirates coach Kjelle Jonevret said he was looking forward to the Nedbank Cup final, his first final since joining the club as head coach at the beginning of the year.
“We have been working very hard with the team. This is a final and we know very well that, it’s not current form or league position which will determine who wins on Saturday but rather who does all the right things on match day”, said the Pirates coach.
Meanwhile, the Bucs medical team has reported a clean bill of health siting only the likes of Thembinkosi Lorch as the obvious absentees as he continues to recover on his shoulder injury.
The Mighty Buccaneers played two friendly matches last week and apart from the common knock, no player suffered any significant injuries which means that Jonevret has a wide list of players to choose from for this final.
The match kicks off at 20h15 at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday.
