Pirates Out To Get Their First PSL Victory In 2017

The Absa Premiership will resume action this weekend after the international break, and Pirates will look to claim their first victory of 2017 when they travel away to face Free State Stars on Saturday, April 1. The Buccaneers have won just four out of 20 games in the Absa Premiership, with the changes to the team’s technical bench impacting greatly on their poor run of form.

Pirates claimed a 3-1 victory over ABC Motsepe League-side, EC Bees in the Nedbank Cup and although the result came against a lower league team, it should be enough for the Soweto giants to build on going forward.

New appointed Pirates coach,Kjell Jonevret, has made a few changes in the Bucs camp such a giving Patrick Phungwayo a run and rotating players. This has motivated the players to make an impression to the newly appointed coach. So far the players are highly motivated and Dove Wome has been at the helm of scoring goals and he is on a mission to leave a mark at Pirates.
