Pitso Mosimane Announces Cavin Johnson As New Assistant Coach. The former SuperSport United and Platinum Stars coach joins Kabelo Rangoaga and Musi Matlaba as Mosimane’s technical team. This is the last addition to the technical team that Mosimane has set up. Other memebers from Rene Weiler’s tenure remain at Al Ahly.

Cavin Johnson joins as Mosimane’s assistant, after Rulani Mokwena reportedly refused to join Jingles in Cairo. This didn’t dampen anything as Mosimane has gone for long time opposition rival Cavin Johnson.

“With qualifications that include the CAF license, SAFA Pro license, Brazilians Football Academy, FA England courses and a sports management diploma, he has what it takes to help us deliver on our mandate in this top league and beyond.”

Cavin Johnson joins a happy camp as Mosimane won his first game in charge. The Red Devils won 1-0 at home to Al Mokawloon thanks to an Amr El Solia penalty.
