Premier Soccer League Latest Transfer News
Premier Soccer League Latest Transfer News! We’re in the middle of the PSL transfer window and teams have acquired the services of players they wanted to add ahead of the upcoming season
KAIZER CHIEFS
Chiefs were the first team to announce a long list of players that departed the club prior to the unveiling of the top-notch signings. Amakhosi are looking to compete for all domestic trophies under the new leadership of Arthur Zwane.
It seems like they’re not done in the market with speculations suggesting that they’re closely monitoring Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Siphelele Mkhulise who is a rumoured want away from Chloorkop. Mkhulise hasn’t been playing regularly as he used to under the previous coach Pitso Mosimane.
Chiefs have also been hunting Golden Arrows playmaker Pule Mmodi and he has also expressed an immense desire to become their member. Arrows are understood to be willing to allow the deal to be completed only if the Glamour Boys can pay just R3 million according to iDiski Times.
ORLANDO PIRATES
Buccaneers are in the pursuit of signing the University of Pretoria defender Keegan Allan who was nurtured at Sundowns. However, the Sea Robbers could be beaten by one of the two Italy Serie A clubs that are rumoured to be vying for his signature. The two Italian clubs are Hellas Verona and Spezia Calcio.
MAMELODI SUNDOWNS
The DStv Premiership Champions are strengthening their squad in areas where coaches didn’t feel satisfied last season. The Brazilians have already signed Sipho Mbule from SuperSport United on a three-year deal. Masandawana also signed an Ethiopian striker Abubeker in January but loaned him back to his former club and he’s going to join them in July.
The Pretoria giants have been strongly linked with Bafana Bafana captain Ronwen Williams who’s seeking an exit at SuperSport United. The reports also suggest that Downs have made a lucrative offer for Bongani Zungu who left Amiens SC after his contract expired. It was reported that Zungu told his former club that he had other aspirations when they were in talks of a possible renewal of the contract.
Sundowns are also close to completing a deal with SCC Mohammedia for the transfer of Abdelmounaim Boutouil. The Morrocan defender is meant to be a replacement for Ricardo Nascimento who plays for Royal AM.
AMAZULU & ROYAL AM
Usuthu and Thwihli Thwahla are said to be in the race for the signing of discarded Sundowns midfielder George Maluleka.
CAPE TOWN CITY
The Citizens are also in the pursuit of acquiring the aforementioned Maluleka to bolster their midfield which has been unsteady at times.
MARITZBURG UNITED
The Team of Choice have been linked with Kwandakwensizwa Mngonyama who was released by the Buccaneers after the completion of the past season.
