Bloemfontein Celtic CEO Khumbulani Konco Departs The Club! The club CEO is reportedly set to confirm his resignation from the club in the coming days.

Daily Sun reports that Konco has already cleared his desk and set his sights on pastures new. Celtic have had to burden Khumbulani Konco with their financial disparities in his time at the club.

According to a source close to Daily Sun, the foundation of Konco’s departure is the shaky relationship he has with club chairman Max Tshabalala.

“Khumbulani is no longer working for Celtic. He’s cleared his desk and will no longer work for the club. I do not have all the details but what I do know is that he has quit the club. He will possibly join one of the big clubs in the PSL.”

The relationship between Tshabalala and Konco has been uneasy for a little while now. This is because of the manner in which Tshabalala addressed Konco.

The CEO put his foot down and was consequently hit with a suspension for his conduct. It seems as if Konco could not deal with the weight on his shoulders any longer.

He was already putting up with financial strain which saw players and staff receive their salaries quite late. The situation was simply worsened by the dire relations Konco had with club CEO Max Tshabalala.
