Teams in the PSL have paid tribute to the death of Pelé. They will observe moments of silence in their matches scheduled for today and tomorrow.
Pelé will go down as probably the greatest footballer of all time. His supreme talent and accolades have etched him in football folklore.
South African icons Jomo Sono and Kaizer Motaung each had the opportunity of playing alongside Pelé. Sono played with him at New York Cosmos and Motaung played with the great at Atlanta Chiefs.
These stints both laying the foundation for Jomo Cosmos and Kaizer Chiefs.

“Pele is one of only a handful of players to have revolutionised and transformed world football with his exceptional ability, skill and charisma. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed.” Kaizer Chiefs also posted.
