PSL top 5 tough tackling players.

1. Thapelo Tshilo

A veteran, someone who has been around the block. Played for Jomo Cosmos for a number of years, at that time Cosmos was known for its hard tackling players. A strikers worst nightmare. Fair to say that he has dished up a couple of broken bones and bruises.

2. Alfred Ndengane

The Bloemfontien hard tackling midfielder is very good at disrupting the flow of the game with his tough tackles. Numerous yellow cards and a couple of red cards is something he is accustomed too.

3. Hlompo Kekana

Mamelodi Sundowns midfield kingpin from Limpopo is by no means a slouch. He goes in hard in those 50/50 tackles.

4. Willard Katsande
He must be a nightmare for every player in the PSL, he does not pull back from a challenge and he goes in very hard. A couple of season ago yellow cards was the daily order for him, he even complained about being targeted by referees.

5. Lethladi Madubanya

Very similar to Hlompo Kekana in play, very well built and hard tackling. Even got sent off in the last game of season for getting to yeloow cards in the space of 6 minutes due to his hard tackling antics.
