Ranga Chivaviro Set for Move to Chippa United in Betway Premiership

Ranga Chivaviro looks set to continue his career in the Betway Premiership, with strong indications that he will join Chippa United for the 2025/26 season.
The 32-year-old striker has been searching for a new club since leaving Kaizer Chiefs in June after his two-year contract at Naturena expired. While there were links to a possible return to Marumo Gallants or a move to Siwelele FC, sources say negotiations with Chippa United are at an advanced stage.
“Chippa are very serious about Ranga,” a source close to the situation told the Siya crew. “Negotiations are progressing well and if everything goes according to plan, he should be playing his football in Gqeberha this season.”
Chippa United have already strengthened their squad this transfer window, adding players such as Somila Ntsundwana, Harold Majadibodu, and Justice Figareido. Coach Luc Eymael is reportedly keen on Chivaviro’s experience to boost the team’s attacking options and improve their performances compared to last season.
With talks in the final stages, it is expected that Chivaviro will be officially unveiled soon. Fans can anticipate seeing the former Amakhosi forward in the Chilli Boys’ colours this season, adding experience and firepower to the Eastern Cape side.
